SCOTTSVILLE POLICE RESPONDED TO NEW GLASGOW ROAD……NEAR THE MIDDLE SCHOOL….. TO REPORTS OF A VEHICLE THAT HAD RAN OFF THE EDGE OF THE

ROAD MULTIPLE TIMES AND WAS SWERVING…..THE VEHICLE STOPPED AT THE   CONVENIENCE STORE ON VETERANS MEMORIAL HIGHWAY AND THEN WENT UP

DELL HALL DRIVE TO 31-E AND HEADED NORTH…..A TRAFFIC STOP WAS INITIATED NEAR SMUCKERS AND THE DRIVER 33 YEAR OLD JOHN B. TOMES OF 75 CARTER

STREET WAS CHARGED WITH RECKLESS DRIVING, RESISTING ARREST, DIRORDERLY CONDUCT, DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE-SECOND OFFENSE AND

OPERATING ON A SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE……TOMES WAS ALSO SERVED AN ALLEN COUNTY WARRANT CHARGING FAILURE TO APPEAR…..

 

OFFICERS WERE CALLED TO THE JUDICIAL CENTER WHERE 51 YEAR LD RICHARD CARVER OF 76-HUNDRED BROWNSFORD ROAD WAS IN COURT……THE

JUDGE NOTICED A STRONG ORDER OF ALCOHOL AND MARIJUANA…..AND CARVER WAS CHARGED WITH ALCOHOL INTOXICATION IN A PUBLIC PLACE AND

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA…….
