REBALANCE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF A SUPERINTENDENT AND BOARD OF EDUCAITON TO BEST SERVE STUDENTS IN  A LARGE SCHOOL DISTRICT……

AND SOLICITOR GENERAL MATT KUHN ARGUED BEFORE THE COURT THAT THE LAW IS A CONSTITUTIONAL EXERCISE OF THE  GENERAL ASSEMBLY’S  ROLE AS THE

COMMONWEALTH’S  POLICY-MAKING BODY…..

 

THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY PASSED A MAJOR EDUCATION BILL IN 20-22……WHICH EMPOWERED THE SUPERINTENDENT OF A LARGE DISTRICT LIKE JEFFERSON

COUNTY……TO ACT LIKE THE DISTRICT’S CHIEF  EXECUTIVE OFFICER WITH THE SCHOOL BOARD AS THE DISTRICT’S BOARD OF DIRECTORS……
